Who are the Lunatics?

"The lunar religion was founded in the second year of the second world by Saint Shrigma of New Winland. Since its inception this unique cult has endured and prospered across the Rogue Plane, founding such notable cities such as Beregost and Illiberis

These lunatics, as they call themselves, are a highly secretive sect of moon cultists, little is known of their exact practices outside of their devotion to their goddess and incredible talent with the chisel. In la Luna's name they carve great monuments, erect cities of immense beauty and even found abbeys and churches in her name.

The Lunatics are however well known to have a strong belief that through enough pray and devotion la Luna will be able to defeat Dave, god of rust and instability. Based on scavenged documents it seems their religion also professes that la Luna’s nightly glow creates a protective veil around her followers, lessening the rust's effects on their minds and bodies.

Though sparse, there have also been reports of conflicts between the Lunatics and the little known, "Followers of Dave" who belive their worship of the rust god himself will bring about immense wealth to them in spite of the dissolution of the world's temporal stability. The lunatics on the other hand profess any followers of Dave as heretics who are helping bring about their own destruction as well as all seraph-kind."
